Well I posted $50 to my Sharebuilder acct yesterday and I got an email saying that it was posted today. I have a money market account that is labeled as "conservative". Wow. This may be the first time I have ever had that label

A few minutes ago I opened up a Sharebuilder account. I have been wanting to do this for about a year now but never had the nerve to. Finally I looked at my budget and decided to start with $50 a month. My gym membeship is giong to be cancelled soon so I will use that money to fund this. I figure it is a better use of the $50. Can any other Sharebuilder kin out there help a sister out with some advice?

Yesterday I had lunch with a financial planner from Ameriquest. I "won" a free lunch at a local pizzeria but the catch was that I had to sit with him. I had cancelled it once but after speaking to a friend who suggested that I see a planner I decided to finally do it. So I bit the bullet. He was nice and gave me a lot to think about as far as my finanial future goes. The one question I am stuck on is "What kind of lifestyle do I want when I retire"? To be honest I never even gave it a thought. I know I don't want to me broke and Medicaid for sure.
